This all-media exhibition invites national and international artists to submit work that explores this concept of individual identity through works that contextualize themes of race, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, religion, disability and all other ‘labels’ we might use to identify ourselves.

Target Gallery explores the future of contemporary fiber and textile art in Future of Fiber. This call is open to national and international artists working in textile, fiber and wearable arts.

Target Gallery presents the 2016 Torpedo Factory Post-Graduate Residents! This group of artists have spent three months each developing new work in Studio 12. This exhibition is a sampling of their best work created during their time here.

Three women who use the female body to explore issues of equity, power, politics, and memory

This is an Open Call for proposals for an exhibition in the summer of 2016. Artists from North America working in all visual media are eligible to apply. Proposals for exhibitions by both individuals and groups will be considered. The individual or group associated with the chosen proposal will recieve a solo exhibition at the Target Gallery from July 23 - August 28. The artist(s) will also recieve a stipend and digital exhibition catalog.

Visitors are encouraged to touch, feel, dine upon, and even lick the artwork in this all-media exhibition.

Main-based Lisa Kellner’s work is intended to be immersive, Using silk organza in a painterly process, she sews thousands of bulbous shapes and creates structures that seem to grow from the walls and ceiling. The work will envelop the entire gallery in a room-sized singular form.
