About the Art League

Founded in 1954, The Art League, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable and educational nonprofit organization. The League is a multifaceted visual arts organization that meets its mission through its gallery, fine art school, art supply store, and arts-outreach programs.

Classes & Workshops

Professional classes & workshops
Classes at all artistic skill levels are offered at The Art League School on a quarterly basis. The Art League School is non-accredited and open to all. A full selection of day, evening, and weekend courses are offered in virtually all of the fine arts and a wide variety of fine crafts. Art League teachers are outstanding and inspiring practicing artists.

Children’s Classes

Courses for kids and teens
The Art League offers classes for children ages 5 and up in areas such as cartooning, ceramics, clay animation, and introduction to art. In our Art Fun-damentals class, students 5 and older explore texture, line, shape, and color and are introduced to working with a range of materials.

Summer Art Camp

Summer Art Camp
Week-long Summer Art Camps & Teen Workshops are offered each summer in June, July, and August. Children explore a new medium or begin a new project each day, focusing on drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture. The syllabus is different each week the camp is offered. Specialty camps are also available, where children concentrate on a specific medium, such as ceramics, cartooning, or jewelry making.
