Generations: Space History in Art
It will soon be 47 years since humans first set foot on the moon. To commemorate, realist artists James Dean and Kara Hammond bring together their space related works to celebrate the early days of space travel and exploration, in a small, targeted retrospective.
Post-Graduate Resident Danielle Smith
Danielle Smith’s work is fueled by her personal experiences as an African-American woman. Her figurative paintings tell stories surrounding pivotal life moments leading to identity fragmentation from childhood to adulthood. Check out her work and meet the artist during her Post-Graduate Studio residency from July 2 - October 1.
Wade Kramm: Dotted Space
This is an Open Call for proposals for an exhibition in the summer of 2016. Artists from North America working in all visual media are eligible to apply. Proposals for exhibitions by both individuals and groups will be considered. The individual or group associated with the chosen proposal will recieve a solo exhibition at the Target Gallery from July 23 - August 28. The artist(s) will also recieve a stipend and digital exhibition catalog.
