Join Alexis Gomez for a talk looking back on his three months in the Post-Grad Residency studio. Join the American Geosciences Institute for "Rock" related artist demonstrations. Celebrate Pride Month with NOVA Pride and Safe Space NOVA.

The Late Shift is a free monthly after-hours series featuring exhibition receptions, music, live performances, artist talks, and more. Select Fridays, 7 – 11 pm.

Guy Jones: “Drawing Energy: The Logic of Madness”

Studio 21 - The Art League Gallery

Artist Guy Jones explores art’s ability to transcend and heal by tapping into what he calls the “logic of madness.” Jones draws directly onto the surface of animal skulls and bones, tree fungus, turtle shells, and gourds, experiencing a deep spiritual kinship with the natural objects that serve as his canvases. Jones’s “Drawing Energy: The Logic of Madness” will be on view at The Art League gallery, July 5-August 5, 2018.
