The Teen Winter Art Contest is a self-expressive, visual art contest created by the Alexandria Library for painters and photographers in middle schools and high schools throughout Alexandria. All award winners will be showcased in Site 2 (the corridor by the elevator on the 2nd floor) throughout May.
Celebrate the growing tech, DIY and makerspace movement happening in Alexandria and beyond, with music, drinks, and demonstrations. Plus, welcome the Solo Exhibition artist in Target Gallery with a reception at 8 p.m.
Enjoy a free workshop or live demo with a Torpedo Factory Art Center artist at the Waterfront entrance of the Art Center. There will be a different project every third Saturday of the month from April - September, 1 - 3pm.
