On View in Site 3 Project Gallery
The Torpedo Factory Art Center is proud to collaborate with studio artists for Art Menagerie, an exhibition done in partnership with our 23rd Annual Art Safari event.
Art Menagerie will convert our Site 3 Project Gallery into visual art zoo featuring animal-themed paintings and prints from Veronica Barker-Barzel (Studio # 320), Christine Cardellino (Studio # 313), Matt Cuenca (Studio # 335), Tracie Griffith Tso (Studio #22), Guy Jones (Studio # 337) and the collaborative community papier-mâché sculptures designed by Lisa Schumaier (Studio # 16), an Art Safari fan favorite.

23rd Annual Art Safari
Saturday, October 13, 12 – 4 pm
An Alexandria tradition for more than two decades, Art Safari returns for a day of hands-on activities for kids and families. Dozens of artists lead budding arts enthusiasts in hands-on projects throughout the building. Children should wear clothing that can get a little dirty. Most activities are appropriate for ages 5 – 11. Some parental participation may be required.

About Site Three Project Gallery
The Torpedo Factory Art Center will activate the third floor Site 3 space by exhibiting its roster of artists (and tenant organization’s roster). The Site Three Project Gallery offers a compelling exhibition space to Art Center artists for a duration of two to three months. The goal of Site Three Project Gallery is to give our artists with more creative opportunities such as participate in collaborative exhibitions, display a larger body of work, and curate eligible artist’s work.
