Art Impact USA’s second annual art exhibition, celebrating Caribbean-American heritage. This exhibition in Sites 2 and 3 showcases 20 artists who have been inspired by the Caribbean, either being from the region or having Caribbean background or affiliation.

An Evening with Daniel Taye – Koyeta ke Ethiopianin Seali Daniel Taye gar
Once named by CNN as the “Van Gogh of Africa,” Daniel Taye traveled from Ethiopia to participate in this month-long residency. The public is invited to meet him during an after-hours reception. A speaker from the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art will offer comments. The evening will also feature a sampling of Ethiopian foods and music.

Wade Kramm: Dotted Space
This is an Open Call for proposals for an exhibition in the summer of 2016. Artists from North America working in all visual media are eligible to apply. Proposals for exhibitions by both individuals and groups will be considered. The individual or group associated with the chosen proposal will recieve a solo exhibition at the Target Gallery from July 23 - August 28. The artist(s) will also recieve a stipend and digital exhibition catalog.
