Creative Writing Workshop with Community Building Art Works
Studio 208 - Riverview RoomAs featured in the 2018 HBO Documentary We Are Not Done Yet, Community Building Art Works serves veterans, military personnel, and members of the community through generative creative-writing workshops. Led by accomplished authors, they are focused on using the written word as a tool for introspection, communication, and connection. Bring a pen, a notebook, and an open mind.
Memento Mori
Studio 2 - Target GalleryAccording to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, “Memento mori” is the literal Latin translation for “‘remember (that you have) to die”. The purpose of this exhibition is to explore death as a concept and how it affects our lives. Through explorations of entropy/decay, ghosts and paranormal spirits, or personal experiences, this exhibit will contemplate how the inevitability of death impacts us all.
