Jon tells his story—the narrative of his war experience—through visual art. Visual art has made a connection for him. That connection gives his voice to us.

Dallas-based artist Leigh Merrill assembles photos and videos to create fictional images that are familiar, yet unfamiliar, recognizable, but not place-able, to examines the relationship between construction and control in urban, suburban, and rural spaces.
