Find an inner ohm with May’s ‘Meditations’ creations in pottery, glass, painting and more exploring the gentle intersection of handmade art and mindful living.

Contemplation, both gentle and deep, inspire artistry, as the mind meditates on the universe, planet and personal world. Take a nano break or soul retreat and dive into a reflective world with sculptural surprises, handmade glass talismans and heartwarming original works. In a fast-paced, overstimulated world, the simple act of wrapping hands around a handcrafted mug becomes sacred. The quiet contemplation of a vase’s curve offers respite. A painting’s serene palette permits slowing down. ‘Meditations’ celebrates these micro-moments of peace.

Discover vessels born of fire and intention as woodfired pottery bears the meditative marks of flame’s dance, each piece a study in spontaneous zen. Woodfired treasures express wild, rustic finishes that invite tactile meditation. Wall-mounted sconces and functional ware of cups, bowls and servers transforms daily routines into mindful ceremonies. Fill vases with aromatic herbs, posies to lift a broody mood.

Architectural handheld sculptural originals echo shelter and home while female torsos express age-old feminine mystique. Seek a centering object in a marbled stone form or abstract figure.

Original paintings express tranquility with gentle landscapes, interpretive scenes and soothing nature studies. Contemplative elegance with delicate Chinese brushwork of spirit animals and symbolic flora. Indigo nature-based botanical eco-prints reward lingering observation in card or wall-hung formats. Open an artistic window where the eye can rest and the mind wander.

Mother’s Day calls for thoughtful gifts while Memorial Day gatherings need meaningful centerpieces. Life requires small sanctuaries handcrafted with intention, to pause, breathe and reconnect.
