Join us for a comedic handing-building ceramics workshop creating a home for your computer mouse or other small household item. Please feel welcome to bring a mouse if you have one or another object that wouldn’t traditionally be kept in a box or a jar. Clare Suess will then lead participants in learning hand-building ceramic techniques to construct a lidded vessel out of clay, perfectly fitting your object. The workshop will end with painting and decorating your new vessel.

This seminar is designed through creativity between the Institute for Creative, Arts, and Technology at Virginia Tech, Expressions at Amazon Arlington, and the City of Alexandria’s Office of the Arts.
