Select your favorite archaeological sites from 16 featured digs, including the Lee Street Site pictured above, covering 13,000 years of Alexandria’s history.
Beginning on March 3 through March 28, stop by the Alexandria Archaeology Museum, in Studio 327, to vote for the showcased match-up, or vote online at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Friends-of-Alexandria-Archaeology/236456359884791.
In Alexandria ArchaeoMadness, 16 selected sites, highlighting the City’s rich and diverse past, enter the tournament in a single elimination bracket. For each game, participants vote for their favorite in a head-to-head competition between two sites. The winners from each matchup move on to the next round to compete in the final March 28 championship.
