Photographer Pete McCutchen captures naturally-occurring abstracts, texture, and pattern found in the natural world.
Printmaker and sculptor Brian Kirk manipulates the natural interaction of water and steel to create unique, rust-pattern prints that challenge assumptions of steel’s strength and durability.
Juried by Samira Abbassy, this exhibit of work by Art League members will feature pieces of all media and subject matter.
In this free, interactive event, participants are invited to take a closer look at the work created by The Art League’s August solo artist, Ito Briones. After a critical viewing exercise, participants will engage in an in-depth discussion of the work, as well as the artist’s process and intent. Wine and light refreshments will be served.

For "Value," juried by renowned artist Sharon Louden, Art League artists were encouraged to submit artwork that best captures what is most important in their creative life—be it the subject of the work, the process, or the object’s function.
Join the Gallery Director for an art-viewing and making Happy Hour. In this free, hands-on event, participants will be invited to take a closer look at work created by The Art League’s monthly Solo Artist.
Artist Guy Jones explores art’s ability to transcend and heal by tapping into what he calls the “logic of madness.” Jones draws directly onto the surface of animal skulls and bones, tree fungus, turtle shells, and gourds, experiencing a deep spiritual kinship with the natural objects that serve as his canvases. Jones’s “Drawing Energy: The Logic of Madness” will be on view at The Art League gallery, July 5-August 5, 2018.
