*Meg is on maternity leave March 23 through September 15
Meg's process-driven exploration leads her to create artful jewelry emulating fine detail in nature. Her signature technique involves making hundreds of tiny pieces and arranging them in delicate compositions. The resulting kinetic jewelry feels like clusters of seeds, leaves and grasses. These details in nature also inform her intricately sculpted jewelry. In addition, Meg creates custom fine jewelry in recycled fine metals with ethically sourced gemstones.
Meg became a resident Torpedo Factory Artist in 2017. She trained in Industrial Design and Metalsmithing at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. Under her jewelry brand Meg by Hand, she meticulously handcrafts her pieces in reclaimed fine metals using green studio practices.
