Heiser works with mixed media gathering inspiration from nature. Her process often begins with a sketch narrative using bold colors, moving the story forward pulling unique lines, shapes, and taking risks with large brush work built up with various mixed media layered in Charcoal, Acrylic, Ink, Encaustic, Graphite, Pastels and Oils. Painting for nearly twenty years, Heiser’s love of plein air painting evolved into abstract realism through natures lines, making it bigger than life.
