As part of National Poetry Month, the Torpedo Factory Art Center hosts Sheryl Oring's I Wish to Say in the New Project Studio. I Wish to Say grew out of Sheryl Oring's concern that not enough voices were being heard about the state-of-affairs in this country and her belief in the value of free expression that is guaranteed under our Constitution. For this project, Oring sets up a portable public office - complete with a manual typewriter - and invites people to write postcards to the President.
Cuddle up to a cottontail and heart some art at the Torpedo Factory Art Center's BunnyFest. Thinking outside the Easter basket, Factory artists Tracie Griffith Tso (Studio 22 and 19), Lisa Schumaier (Keenthings Studio 16) and Betty Grisham (Studio 17) create handmade original work with bounce.
Visit the New Project Studio from April 17-May 1 for a special two-week exhibition of works created by high school art students during their mentorship with professional artists from the Torpedo Factory Art Center.

The Torpedo Factory Art Center welcomes back Armed Services Arts Partnership (ASAP) to host a special comedy show featuring veterans, service members, and military family members from the DC Metro Area.
The Torpedo Factory Art Center welcomes back ASO Sympatico for a special Saturday afternoon of music. ASO Sympatico seeks to create safe spaces within which students can take risks and make strong choices, promote student ownership of their role in an interdependent ensemble.
