For the month of November, the New Project Studio will host "Human Trafficking: Zine and Bookmaking Workshops," a program affiliated with the ArtWorks for Freedom/ ACTION DC!

Beyond the pomp and circumstance, what does it mean to have served? This night celebrates the opening of the exhibition “Perspective Shift: What it Means to Serve,” a filming of "Highest Honor" Veterans Day Banner Project, and spoken poems and music by active and retired service members.
The Torpedo Factory Art Center welcomes back Armed Services Arts Partnership (ASAP) to host a special comedy show featuring veterans, service members, and military family members from the DC Metro Area. The event will provide a platform for veteran artists to showcase their talents, express themselves, and have their voices heard in front of members of the local community. This is an opportunity for the civilian and military world to connect through comedy, dispel stereotypes and misnomers, and engage in an honest dialogue about the veteran, military, and human experience.

Over the course of three months, Korean painter and sculptor Suh Yongsun will transform the New Project Studio into a workshop and community space for discussions and creativity.
On Friday, December 1st, The Factory Society hosts a wine tasting with the Torpedo Factory Art Center to introduce you to fantastic local photographers while tasting delicious wines from Sonoma Cellar. The ticket includes 4 select wines poured by the Sonoma experts, live jazz, and mingling with art lovers.
