The Friends of the Torpedo Factory Mentorship Program Culminating Exhibition
An exhibition of student work will be on view in Studio 8 and the main hall for the culminating exhibition for the 2016 Mentor’s Program, organized and hosted by the Friends of the Torpedo Factory Art Center. Each of the participating students spent this school year partnered with one of the Torpedo Factory’s resident artists to develop their skills and techniques.

Lisa Kellner: Always into Now
Main-based Lisa Kellner’s work is intended to be immersive, Using silk organza in a painterly process, she sews thousands of bulbous shapes and creates structures that seem to grow from the walls and ceiling. The work will envelop the entire gallery in a room-sized singular form.
