Once named by CNN as the “Van Gogh of Africa,” Daniel Taye traveled from Ethiopia to participate in this month-long residency. The public is invited to meet him during an after-hours reception. Her figurative paintings tell stories surrounding pivotal life moments leading to identity fragmentation from childhood to adulthood.
