Potters are helping to mark life's highlights with memorable forms and keepsakes. Whether it be a wedding vase, a handmade coffee mug to go to college or an anniversary centerpiece, handcrafted and heartfelt go hand in hand.
In celebration of The Art League's 60th Anniversary in 2014, the Gallery is revisiting and reflecting upon the major art movements from the last six decades. In "Neo-Expressionism," juried by Kim Levin, artists will look for inspiration to the Neo-Expressionist movement of the 1980s.

DC SIGGRAPH is organizing a presentation from John Saint Amour, senior Public Information Library of Congress Copyright Office. He will be talking about the fundamentals of copyright law and how it relates to visual artists. This talk is intended for all Artists of all stripes, from 2D/3D animators, graphic designers to traditional artists interested in learning more about their rights under US law.
