Workshop: Exploring the Dimensions of STEAM Education with AGI

You are invited to attend the second in a series of Saturday STEAM workshops provided by the American Geosciences Institute in collaboration with the Torpedo Factory Art Center. Participants will explore the many interdisciplinary ways that the arts can support STEM education—an approach that adds an “A” for arts to STEM, making STEAM.

Marisela Rumberg is a Fiber-Artist, Award-Winning Quilter and Certified Zentangle Teacher. She is a member of the Potomac Fiber Arts Gallery in Studio 29 at the Torpedo Factory Art Center. Marisela finds inspiration for her art in nature and the history, legends, traditions and stories of her native Mexico.
