Materialized Magic: Mythical Creatures in a Yarn Artistry Habitat
Studio 8 - New Project StudioWoodland, water, and sky habitats for the large-scale mythical fiber creatures that were created by members of community during free crocheting, knitting, and felting workshops.
Workshop: StorySpaces and Visual BioScapes
Post-Graduate resident, Danielle Smith, conducts a series of free writing and painting workshops designed for young girls aged 8-16. The goal is to provide a space for girls to discuss aspects of society that affects their lives directly while channeling their emotions--both positive and negative--into artistic processes.
