Once named by CNN as the “Van Gogh of Africa,” Daniel Taye traveled from Ethiopia to participate in this month-long residency. The public is invited to meet him during an after-hours reception. A speaker from the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art will offer comments. The evening will also feature a sampling of Ethiopian foods and music.

At the 4th Annual Torpedo Factory Artists' Association Art Materials Market vendors and Torpedo Factory Artists will be selling or trading a variety of art supplies for use across all visual media.
