Workshop: Exploring the Dimensions of STEAM Education with AGI

August 25, 2018 @ 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm

You are invited to attend the first in a series of Saturday STEAM workshops provided by the American Geosciences Institute in collaboration with the Torpedo Factory Art Center. Participants will explore the many interdisciplinary ways that the arts can support STEM education—an approach that adds an “A” for arts to STEM, making STEAM.

These workshops will allow visitors to interact with artists at work and give educators background to make interdisciplinary learning connections with your students. Anyone is welcome to take part; all teachers of grades K-8 are strongly invited to attend. Education resources (posters, packets, etc.) will be provided. You can attend one or all of the workshops in the series.

The workshop is free, but registration is requested.
