Celebrate 100 Years since the groundbreaking of the Torpedo Factory (formerly U.S. Naval Torpedo Station, Alexandria)! This exhibit features art in a range of media that is related to torpedos, the City of Alexandria and its history, the Waterfront, the Navy, or inspired by the Art Center’s location.
Special edition photographs of a scale model torpedo will be for sale. The model torpedo, photographed by Greg Knott, was given to the grandfather of current Torpedo Factory Artist Meg Talley (Studio 209) when he worked at the Naval station during WWII production.
