Eligibility: This application was open to all TFAA members (or artists who were selected by a TFAA jury process] or artists selected for the Post-Graduate studio at the Torpedo Factory Art Center.

Selection based on:

1. Ability to describe artwork
2. Professional background and time spent at the Torpedo Factory Art Center
3. Ability to work well in communal space

Application consisting of:

1. Short written statements:
   • Process statement (less than 200 words)
   • Artist statement (less than 200 words)
   • Interest in studio statement (less than 200 words)
2. Resume or CV
3. Letter of recommendation describing ability to work well with others

Evaluators:

• Erica Harrison, Associate Curator Greater Reston Arts Center, and Director of the Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival with the Greater Reston Arts Center.
• Laura Harvey, Exhibit Coordinator at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden
• Sue Wrbican, Associate Professor and Director of Photography at George Mason University School of Art, and a practicing artist
