As part of Alexandria Live Music Week, Nomadic Jazz welcomes saxophonist and composer Elijah Jamal Balbed.
Balbed, a native Washingtonian, was named Best Tenor Saxophonist by City Paper in 2013. He’s participated in residencies at the Kennedy Center, Strathmore, and Bohemian Caverns.
He will be performing music from his newly released CD, Lessons from the Streets.
