Curated by Torpedo Factory Art Center artist, Bev Ryan (Studio 333), this exhibition features the work of her narrative painting class at the Art League.
Beverly Ryan’s Art League class “Developing the Narrative” links story lines and visual elements to create narrative works. The narrative paintings by twelve student artists feature imagery that suggests a story, a moment, a social comment, or a mood and are open to interpretation. Representational imagery, color, and even paint application may provoke the viewer to ask, “What’s the story?”
