Please join us at the Target Gallery from 6-9pm for the “Materialized Magic” Fiber Art Workshop with our 3rd annual CRAVE (Creating Resources for Artistic Vision and Engagement) grant recipients, Erika Cleveland and Stacy Cantrell!
Erika and Stacy launched their CRAVE-sponsored “Materialized Magic” community art project last Spring. The grant allowed them to buy materials and supplies to provide weekly free lessons for everyone on all levels of experience in crocheting, knitting, and felting. Visitors can create a magical “Yarn Bomb” habitat and also have a chance to be featured with the key artists. After the sessions, the leftover materials and supplies will be donated to the community through nursing homes, community centers, and non-profit organizations.
