The Torpedo Factory Art Center will be hosting several special programs as part of the 12th Annual King Street Art Festival. Stop by throughout the day for family-friendly fun. The studios will be open until 7 pm.
Saturday, September 13:
- 12 pm: Local jazz band 2nd Independence on the Waterfront gazebo stage.
- 12 pm: Hands-on arts activities with the Alexandria Office of the Arts’ Mobile Art Lab throughout the afternoon.
- 1 pm: Resident artist Tatyana Schremko will create an ice sculpture in the lobby.
- 2 pm: Folk-rock band Hearts and Spades on the Waterfront gazebo stage.
- 4 pm: Indie folk group Domestic Animals on the Waterfront gazebo stage.
- 7 pm: Young Patrons Art Festival After Party begins. Cash bar with proceeds benefiting the Torpedo Factory Art Center.
- 7 pm: A DJ will start spinning and projections on the Torpedo Factory Art Center will provide a lively evening display through 11 pm.
Sunday, September 14:
- 12 pm: Mobile Art Lab activities continue throughout the afternoon.
