An exhibition curated by Galactic Panther gallery, located in Old Town Alexandria, to bring “cultural beauty from overseas to share with the community of Alexandria.”
Mariella Bilitsa was born in 1991, she grew up in Athens, Greece, and in 2016 she graduated from the Department of Fine and Applied Arts of Western Macedonia. Since then, she’s lived and worked as an Art Teacher around Greece.
About her artwork she states, “My work is a mixture of personal experiences and associative thoughts. Inspired by my everyday life, by humans, their connection to animals, by the natural environment, my works end up in a set of complex narratives.”
A public reception will take place on November 13, 12 – 2 pm, at Torpedo Factory Art Center Site Two.
