Forged in fires both figurative and literal, this month’s work at Scope will celebrate the connection between the passionate flames of the artist’s imagination and the physical flames of the kiln. Ceramic works showcasing a variety of firing techniques including gas, salt, wood, soda, crystalline, electric and raku will be presented, each displaying its own beauty, challenges, and one of a kind surprises.
