Torpedo Factory Art Center’s annual special exhibition and art sale returns with proceeds going to provide free community programs at the Art Center – this year at a new location: the new premiere Gallery at Canal Center (11 Canal Center) located on the river, north of the Art Center. This location is a new hub for cultural and artistic events in Alexandria.
Experience a wide variety of art from local artists who donated their art, each on an identical 10×10 wood panel. The size and price make the artworks ideal for collecting. This local favorite will have public sales starting on March 2 and through the exhibition, with early sales starting the evening of the Art Party. All works in this exhibition are priced at $150. On the final day of the exhibition, all works will be on sale for $100.

ART PARTY
Saturday, March 2, 7-9 p.m., Free
The opening reception & art party is free and open to all. View the iconic March150 square artworks and bring home a piece of your own! Jurors will announce their picks for Best in Show and participants can vote for the Viewer’s Choice Award. Food and drink will be available for purchase.
MARCH 100 DAY
Saturday, March 30, 11 a.m.-8 p.m., Free
Celebrate the closing of the 14th Annual March150 with a day of art activities for all ages and more. All artwork still on sale will be reduced to $100! Buyers may also take their purchased work home with them.
