Join The Art League at the King Street Art Festival for art activities and our popular Ice Cream Bowl Fundraiser! Patrons can purchase one of 1,000 hand-made bowls created by the talented artists of The Art League’s ceramics department and enjoy a scoop of ice cream, all for only $15 per bowl, the proceeds of which benefit The Art League. Participants in the Ice Cream Bowl Fundraiser may enter a free drawing to win ceramic artwork and an Art League gift certificate.
For kid-friendly activities, visit The Art League tents near Market Square at the corner of King Street and N. Fairfax Street on both days of the festival. Kids ages 10 and up can take part in a 3-D jewelry project led by Art League instructor Michael Brehl. There will be another fun hands-on art activity for kids younger than 10.
