A Holiday Boat Parade of Lights Viewing Party with an Artistic Twist
Celebrate the start of the holiday season like a VIP – in style, comfort, and surrounded by creativity. Enjoy spectacular views of the Potomac River from the Art Centers 3rd floor, two story, Overlook Room watching 50 boats cruise and shine.
Indulge in a full bar and hors d’oeuvres. Two drinks are included with each ticket, with more tickets available for purchase. Food by Rocklands Real Barbeque located in Alexandria VA.
Exclusive art activations include body painting artist Jen Seidel, who has received extensive national and international coverage. A live feed of artist Monica Stroik’s projections on the outside of the Art Center will also be on view inside the event room. Stroik is a recent MFA graduate of Maryland Institute College of Art. Music will fill the space by Billy “T” Wilde.
Musician Billy “T” Wilde is an American live performing, singer / songwriter. With just his guitar and thundering voice, Billy performs both a stripped down yet high energy one-man-band act. Wild is heavily influenced by American blues, soul and funk by the likes of The Isley Brothers, Stevie Wonder and Lenny Kravitz. He has performed at venues such as the Patriot Center, and Jiffly Lube Live, and has opened up for national acts like Lincoln Park, 30 Seconds to Mars to Dave Mathews Band. A native to the suburbs of Washington DC, he is poised to make his mark on the Rock, Blues and Pop Genres.
Attendees will also receive a complementary Torpedo Factory Art Center holiday ornament.
