Capital Area Photographers: Mastering Studio Light

June 27, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Capital Area Photographers welcomes Artemas Mott to discuss mastering studio light and creating meaningful portraits.

Studio Portraits are making a comeback. After years of location sessions, clients are beginning to look for studio sessions again. Getting control of your lighting and learning how to use it based on the situation is imperative to creating stunning portraits which will help you stand out from the crowd. This talk will cover traditional and non-traditional lighting set-ups, camera settings, and how to get “real” with your subject. There will be time for a hands-on component for you to grab your camera and do some shooting of your own.
