“Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting
and autumn a mosaic of them all.”
- Stanley Horowitz

Lauren Miko is primarily a printmaker but is constantly exploring new ways of telling a story, from art books to scratchboard to mosaics. She has a degree in Graphic Design from Humboldt State University in California and has worked in commercial art, shared a studio with other printmakers at the Torpedo Factory, taught workshops at the Smithsonian American Art Museum, and taken many art classes, always trying to share her knowledge, improve her technique and find new inspiration.
