Solo Preview 2016

January 6 - January 24

The Art League’s Solo Preview Exhibit will premiere a work by each of our nine 2016 solo artists. This exhibit offers viewers a glimpse of the exciting exhibits at The Art League Gallery this coming year.

Our 2016 artists are:

  • March: Fritz Desroches (oil & airbrushed paintings)
  • April: Teresa Oaxaca (oil on canvas & charcoal on paper)
  • May: Nancy McIntyre (silkscreens & oil paintings)
  • June: Alex Tolstoy (watercolors)
  • July: Kathleen Best Gillmann (oil & acrylic paintings)
  • September: Michael Fischerkeller (acrylic)
  • October: Anita Damron (glass & metal mosaics)
  • November: Soomin Ham (pigment prints re-photographed under snow and ice)
  • December: Dennis Crayon (oil on panel)

A panel of outside jurors selected these artists from around 50 applicants. To be considered, potential solo artists provided examples of their work, created a proposal, and completed the jurying process. All artists in this exhibit have successfully completed this process and are preparing exhibits for 2016.
