August 9, 2016 - September 4, 2016

Exhibit dates: August 9–September 4, 2016
Opening reception: Thursday, August 11, 6:30–8:00 pm
Landschap is the Dutch word for landscape. The Netherlands was one of the first places where landscape became a popular subject matter to paint.
For this exhibit, juried by Nora Sturges, Professor of Art at Towson University, the challenge is to take this traditional subject matter and bring it new life. Artists will answer the question: How does the landscape around us affect us?
