SUMMARY:The Color of Fire
DESCRIPTION:Summer begins with heat\, energy\, and transformation. “The Color of Fire” focuses on the diverse firing techniques that define ceramic expression — from the smoky unpredictability of raku to the atmospheric subtleties of reduction and the clean precision of oxidation. Each firing reveals something unique about the clay’s character and the artist’s intention. The exhibition celebrates this collaboration with flame\, where color\, texture\, and surface emerge from controlled chaos. Glazes flash copper\, crackle in silver\, deepen into iron reds or celadon greens. The results are never entirely predictable and that is their beauty. “The Color of Fire” honors both mastery and mystery\, reminding us that in ceramics\, fire is the final artist. With the Kiln Club.
