SUMMARY:Spring Serenade
DESCRIPTION:‘Joyful Balance’ abstract ceramic sculpted torso with gold metallic finishing by Elke Seefeldt of Arlington\, Va. \n‘Vibration Bowl’ kilnformed glass organic dishes by Sandi Martina of Woodbridge\, Va. \nWelcome the warm and spruce up a personal sanctuary with a perfectly-tuned\, on-key art ode to the coming season. \nArtists perform preludes to the emerging sunshine\, offering fresh lively forms and colorful crescendoes in pottery\, glass\, paintings and prints at Fire On studio 22. \nOur buds are to bursting with floral accents\, staccato textures welcome a melody of brighter things to come. Up tempo\, cheeky statuettes express excess and light engulfs the gallery with sunny eco-prints of seasonal foliage. \nGrand\, oversized vases force the timbre of decadence\, inspiring garden-party centerpieces or an entry hall presence. Come in to sample expressive\, impressive energy as artistry waxes rhapsodic over cyclical exhilaration. \nOil on canvas early Spring plein air landscape by Brianna Camp of Fairfax\, Va. \nStoneware dipped honey pot by Scott Kaye of Arlington\, Va. \nSpring blossoms mark the conclusion of Winter and serve as a traditional foundation for a Japanese ikebana floral composition in a handmade vase. The delicate harbingers of the season also gently hover\, painted on platters\, trays\, panels and canvases with the area’s traditional cherry blossom season. \nEverything is accented with breezy movement\, quickening cadence. Paintings turn plein air and dishware does al fresco. Compositions of chirpy allegro arias capture the prelude to nesting season with feathery friends alighting on tableware\, tiles and painted panels. \nHandmade tumblers are for seasonal sipping\, servers are for fruit and salads and trays for sharing charcuterie and tapas. Find mini-bowls for dips and condiments to add spice. \nEmerge into season\, find an anthem in art and add renewed energy to an environment and abode. \n3-D gallery Fire On Studio 22 offers various treatments of glass\, pottery and more on the first floor of the Torpedo Factory Art Center 11  a.m. to 6 p.m. daily and will be open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday April 10  for the Torpedo Factory Art Center’s  Late Night event. The Torpedo Factory will be closed Sunday\, April 5 for Easter. The gallery’s “Spring Serenade” show runs April 1 through April 30\, 2026. \nFollow @studio.fireon for gallery updates and artist features. \nFrom left: Plein air coastline oil by Brianna Camp of Fairfax\, Va.\, Handpainted bunny mugs by Tracie Griffith Tso of Reston\, Va.\, Resin-set ceramic bird hanging wall tile by Brian Grow of Alexandria\, Va.\, Spring green embossed bud vase by Elke Seefeldt of Arlington\, Va.
