Each of my paintings is a narrative inspired by observations of shapes, patterns and texture I see in everyday vistas. I use acrylic paint applied very thickly and create texture and marks for interest. As the painting evolves, I create new passages and develop others, using line work and collage striving for balance and harmony. The viewer is invited to interpret the content in a personal way, just as my private expression has developed it.
