Lori Katz is known for the striking strength and simplicity of her work. Her pieces have been included in definitive shows and collections throughout the world, including the American Craft Museum's "Tea Party" invitational, the permanent collections of the Wustum Museum of Fine Arts (now Racine Art Museum) in Racine, WI, the US Embassy in Bandar Seri Begawan, the IBM Corporation, Amazon Web Services and many private collections. She shows regularly at art fairs in New York City and Chicago. Lori's work has been shown internationally in Moscow, Seoul and Shanghai and has been featured in publications including Home and Design and American Craft Magazines and 500 Plates and Chargers, and 500 Teapots/Volume 2.
For the past several years Lori has worked almost exclusively in a palette of black and white. Lately, color has found its way back in, especially in her smaller works.
Lori has recently completed a series of mixed-media paintings on board, allowing the creation of pieces that are larger than those possible in clay.
Lori is happy to work with you on a size and site specific piece or grouping for your home or office space.
