Instead of literally painting figures, I sometimes create characters from my imagination. In a process that evolves much like a fictional writer who continues to develop the personalities of his characters as the plot thickens, my characters tend to oscillate between the obvious and the unknown. I get caught up in their energy while I am both captivated and amused by them. But in the end, much is left to ones imagination, wondering who these people are and why they came to be.
