About
Site Two Community Gallery is the common space consisting of curved cinderblock walls on the second floor near the elevator and the wall under the exit seen from the 2nd floor landing. The Art Center will provide administrative support to the Exhibition Coordinator from the partnering institution or project.

The Site Two Community Gallery offers a compelling space for an exhibition for a duration of two to three months four times a year, depending on demand. The goal of the Site Two Community Gallery is to:

• Highlight exhibitions and art that focuses on the betterment of the community
• Partner and collaborate with external organizations or projects in need of exhibition space
• To support and allow for more external community engagement with the Art Center

Exhibitions will rotate on a 2 – 3 month basis. The current available dates exhibition dates range from (subject to change):
December, 2018 – March, 2019

Eligibility
• An exhibition proposal with a community-oriented focus
• Must have a dedicated Exhibition Coordinator from the organization that will be the Art Center’s main point of contact and organizer

2018 Visiting Artists Group Exhibition, Site 3 Project Gallery, July – September 2018

About

By exhibiting its roster of artists (and tenant organization’s roster), the Torpedo Factory Art Center will energize the third floor Site Three space.

Site Three is the common area space consisting of curved cinderblock walls on the third floor near the elevator on the third floor landing. The Art Center will provide administrative support and management to the Exhibiting Artist(s) with an Artist Lead from the building.

The Site Three Project Gallery offers a compelling exhibition space for a duration of two to three months, depending on demand. The goal of Site Three Project Gallery is to give artists with a direct connection with the Art Center the opportunity to:

  • Display a larger body of work
  • Collaborate with other artists
  • Curate eligible artist’s work

Applications will be review in order of submission. Exhibitions will rotate on a 2-3 month basis. The available exhibition dates and timeline is listed below (subject to change):
October – December 2018, December 2018 – February 2019, March – May 2019
