Please Note: All films MUST be directed or produced by a woman or women. All genres accepted

To Apply Online:
After you complete the online entry and pay online (via paypal), please MAIL the following:

Two (2) high quality DVD copies and/or DVD-R screeners or preview copies of film.

A CD with digital stills from the film (both B&W and color)

Press reviews or interviews (if available) about the principal cast and/or filmmakers.

A full list of production credits.

Student: Films submitted to this category must have been written by, directed by, or produced by a college female student or individual 22 years of age or under. Be sure to include a copy of your valid student ID or Driver’s License with your submission. * Entry fee discounts for students are early bird deadline: $10, regular deadline: $15, extended deadline: $25. Due to the discounted fee you cannot pay online using this form. If you want to pay via credit card you will have to go directly to paypal and make your payment (our user name for this is targetgallery@torpedofactory.org).

Female Shorts: Film & Video Showcase (FS) Film Release
Please read the following terms and conditions for your entry to the Female Shorts: Film & Video Showcase (hereafter "FS"). If you accept these terms, please sign and date below.

I hereby agree to permit my film to be screened at the FS. I am the sole owner of all legal rights and title and have the authority to submit the enclosed materials to the FS. I guarantee that all rights necessary for a film screening have been obtained.

I will indemnify and hold harmless the FS, its judges, sponsors, volunteers, Torpedo Factory Artists Association, the Torpedo Factory Art Center, The Art League, the City of Alexandria, individually and collectively, from and against all claims, demands, losses, damages, judgments, liabilities and expenses (including, but not limited to, attorney's fees and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, publicity, screening, credits, and loss of or damage to the screening materials entered.

I understand that, unless otherwise specified, the FS provides no financial compensation for any exhibition of my work.

The FS reserves the right to use the submitted publicity information, photos, and excerpts in its marketing and publicity, including online formats, for the exhibition and any other uses related to the promotion of the exhibition.

I understand, am authorized to accept, and agree to abide by all terms listed in this release and in the submission guidelines.
