I am a Washington
D.C. area fine art photographer specializing in color, black
and white and infrared landscape photographs, both in the
U.S. and abroad. I enjoy expansive scenes as well as intimate
landscapes, but there is always an element within the photograph
that captures both my interest and imagination. When not photographing
landscapes, I concentrate on subjects that communicate a strong
sense of geometry, and often symmetry.
When processing my images, manipulation
is kept to a minimum and I do all of my own printing using
archival pigmented inks on archival papers. The final print
is my best recollection of the scene I saw when the shutter
was pressed. All prints are signed and accompanied by a Certificate
of Authenticity, indicating the images title, location, size,
paper and ink used in printing, and if not framed, suggestions
about archival framing.
My work is available through Multiple
Exposures Gallery at the Torpedo Factory Art Center (703)
683-2205 and through my own studio and gallery in Bethesda,
Maryland (301) 365-5177.
