Lori Ehrlich Katz has been a potter
in residence at the Torpedo Factory Art Center in Alexandria,
Virginia since 1979, and an instructor in the ceramics department
of the Art League School for the past several years. Her latest
work incorporates form with function, bold patterning and
contrast. Lori is well known for her innovative teapot designs
and the striking simplicity of her black and white stoneware.
Lori's work has been featured in publications including "HOME"
and "Where" Magazines and the Washington Post, and
has been included in definitive shows and collections throughout
the country, including the American Craft Museum's "Tea
Party" invitational, and the permanent collection of
the Charles A. Wustum Museum of Fine Arts in Racine, WI
