I design and create one-of-a kind wearable art and accessories. All my work is inspired and influenced by the materials. I like to experiment with new and different combinations of materials and textures, mixing fabric, leather, organic fibers and other materials in new and unexpected ways. Fish leather enhances the Llama fleece vest and the closures on my clothes might be combinations of vintage buttons and modern day machine parts.

I grew up in Switzerland where I worked as a crafts teacher until I moved to the USA in 1975. After receiving an additional degree in Communications Arts from the Virginia Commonwealth University, I designed and produced visual communications materials for national and international clients for many years.
